Electricity Powerhouse
Powerhouse sources say that it may take about 15 days to buy a new breaker while the alternative high transmission line has also been tripped due to heavy fog due to which power supply to various areas of Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan has been suspended for 5 hours. .
Officials say that it is difficult to restore electricity until the sun comes out.
On the other hand, extreme cold and fog are prevailing in Sukkur Division due to which the power system has been disrupted in various districts.
More than 250 different feeders of Sepco tripped due to fog, affected districts include Sukkur, Shikarpur, Larkana, Ghotki and other districts.
SEPCO officials say that the restoration work of the trip feeders will begin after the sun rises and the fog clears.
